腹足纲，中腹足目，翁戎科，翁戎螺属。分布于中国台湾省、日本。贝壳坚实，就体积而言，显然较其他翁戎螺重。螺塔高，螺底棱角明显，各螺层平坦或凸圆。

The shell is solid,which is much heavier than many other species of Pleurotomaria family.The height of spiral is high, the edge is sharp, and the spiral layer is flat or convex round.
