鹦鹉螺目，鹦鹉螺科，鹦鹉螺属。主要分布于西南太平洋热带海区。鹦鹉螺基本上属于底栖动物，平时多在100米的深水底层用腕部缓慢地匍匐而行。也可以利用腕部的分泌物附着在岩石或珊瑚礁上。这类动物有夜出性，主要食物为底栖的甲壳类，特别以小蟹为多。

This species belongs to the family of Nautilidae.Mainly distributed in the tropical waters of the Southwest Pacific. Nautilus is basically a benthic animal, usually moves with the wrist slowly creeping in the bottom of more than 100 meters deep water.It can also use the secretion of the wrist attached to the rock or coral reef. These animals have nocturnal, the main food is the benthic crustaceans, especially small crabs.
