鲈形目，石首鱼科，白姑鱼属的鱼类。俗名:白米鱼、鳂仔鱼、白梅、白姑子、沙卫口。主要栖息于水深40公尺内之砂泥底海域，产卵季来临时有集结洄游之习性，以小型鱼类、甲壳类等为食。分布于西北太平洋区，包括中国南海、东海及黄海南部。
