又名四鳃鲈。硬骨鱼纲，鲉形目，杜父鱼科，松江鲈属。因鳃盖膜具橙红色带纹似鳃,“四鳃”俱红,故名。中国四大淡水名贵食用鱼之一,以上海松江县所产者最为著名。个体不大，产量不多，但肉味鲜美，自古被誉为佳品，是我国特产。
