十足目，虎头蟹科，广泛分布于中国东南沿海、长江口、山东半岛、渤海湾、辽东半岛等海域。朝鲜半岛、菲律宾也有分布，为近海温水性大型经济蟹类,生活于浅海泥沙底。中华虎头蟹活动有规律性，常昼伏夜出，多在夜间觅食，有明显的趋光性。

This species belongs to the family of Orithyiidae,order of Decapoda.Widely distributed in the southeast coast of China, the Yangtze River estuary, Shandong Peninsula, Bohai Bay, Liaodong Peninsula and other waters. The Korean Peninsula and the Philippines are also distributed.It’s a kind of large economic crabs, lives in the shallow sea mud bottom.It’s more active at night due to the clear phototaxis but hides in the day.
