属甲壳纲，梭子蟹科。分布在中国浙江、广东、广西、福建和台湾的沿海等地，江浙一带尤多。喜穴居近岸浅海和河口处的泥沙底内，性凶猛，肉食性，主食鱼虾贝类。

This species belongs to the family of portunidae.Distributed in Chinese Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and Taiwan coastal areas, especially Jiangsu and Zhejiang area.It likes to live in the shallow sea and the bottom of the mud in the entrance of river.It’s ferocious and carnivorous, mainly lives on fish ,shrimp,shellfish.
