小黄鱼也叫"黄花鱼"、"小黄花"。脊椎动物，硬骨鱼纲，石首鱼科中国产于东海、黄海、渤海，朝鲜半岛西海岸也有分布。为近海底层结群性洄游鱼类，栖息于泥质或泥沙底质的海区。主要以糠虾、毛虾及小型鱼类为食。为中国重要经济鱼类。

This species belongs to the family of Sciaenidae.Distributed in the East Sea, the Yellow Sea, the Bohai Sea of China, also in the Korean Peninsula on the west coast.It is the coastal seaboard migratory fish, and inhabit in the mud or sedimentation of the sea area.Mainly live on the shrimp and small fish. It ‘s an important economic fish in China.
