也称鲭、油筒鱼、青花鱼,硬骨鱼纲，鲈形目，鲭科。鲐主要分布于菲律宾、中国、朝鲜、日本和苏联远东广大太平洋西部水域，我国黄海、渤海盛产。鲐为暖水性大洋中上层集群洄游性鱼类。食性广，主要摄食浮游甲壳动物和鱼类，也食头足类、毛颚类、多毛类和钵水母等。
