别称石板、石岗子、石江子、石镜、石夹、二色鲽。硬骨鱼纲，鲽形目，鲽科，石鲽属。生产季节为春秋两季，以秋季产量较大。主要分布于温带及寒带地区、我国主要产于黄海、渤海。以海洋岛渔场，石岛渔场和辽东湾渔场产量较多。 场和辽东湾渔场产量较多。
