鲈形目，塘鳢科，黄黝鱼属的鱼类。分布于长江水系。该物种的模式产地在上海。主要生活于江河、湖泊、塘以及库等缓流多水草处，栖息于水体底层，为江河、湖泊常见的小型鱼类，一般体长40毫米以下。
