为琵琶鲨科、琵琶鲨属鱼类。分布于黄海、渤海和东海，朝鲜和日本沿海。常浅埋于泥沙中，头部露出，静待鱼类到来，起而捕之。身体常分泌大量粘液，以去除泥沙。行动滞缓，不善游泳。食鱼类、甲壳类和软体动物。

This species belongs to the family of PiPa shark.Distributed in the Yellow Sea, the Bohai Sea and the East Sea of China, North Korea and Japanese coast.Often buries it’s body in the sediment and exposes the head, waiting for the arrival of fish and catching them.The body often secretes a lot of mucus to remove the sediment. They are poor in swimming and moving . They mainly live on fish, crustaceans and mollusks.
